The XIP Professional two day make-up course offers the highest level of professional training created to give you the confidence to kick start a new career, boost your existing business or help further develop your existing make-up skills.
TV and Celebrity Make-up Artists Lyndsey Harrison and Hayley Sparkes will be your course tutors. With over 25 years’ experience between them they will take you through classic, creative, trend-led and specialist make-up applications giving you
a comprehensive portfolio of looks to take with you on the next step of your career.
On completion of the course you will receive excellent after-care advice plus the
opportunity to assist either Hayley or Lyndsey in their celebrity, TV or media work.
The XIP Professional course includes a full XIP Make-up Kit with brushes (worth
over £300). You will also have the opportunity to earn commission from XIP products
following the course if you wish to help enhance your income. Our Make-Up Courses are limited to a maximum of 10 students to ensure you receive the individual time and attention you need from our tutors.

Lyndsey has been working in the industry for over 15 years having discovered her
passion for hair and beauty from an early age. She began training with TONI&GUY, one of the best schools in London, where she honed her hairdressing skills. Wanting to add make-up to her skill set she took a course at a renowned school of make-up in London where she met tutor Lan Nguyen, After finishing the course she was lucky enough to get the opportunity to assist Lan on many London fashion shows.
Lyndsey’s big break came when her work was spotted by ITV’s BAFTA-winning TV
programme The Only Way Is Essex and was contracted as make-up artist for the cast from Series 1. She went on to build her reputation within the industry and soon became the go-to celebrity make-up artist for TV, Fashion and PR. Lyndsey is currently working on shows that include ITVbe ‘Be Beautiful’ and perfecting the make-up of many
celebrities including Lydia Bright, Ferne McCann and Tanya Bardsley.
Lyndsey is one busy lady and recently found time to develop her own YouTube channel, where she shows how to master her celebrity looks for viewers to recreate at home. The channel includes reviews on products and helpful tips for skincare and where to find the best beauty buys. As well as running her own successful make-up academy in Marlow, Buckinghamshire for over 5 years now, Lyndsey has also been a regular tutor at DFMA Academies nationally.

Hayley has been working in the make-up industry for over 12 years. Whilst completing a degree in Fashion Hayley began working alongside a top make-up artist, assisting behind the scenes on a popular TV show. This experience ignited Hayley’s passion for make-up and whilst still studying she started working on a make-up counter for Christian
Dior, later working with Virgin Vie Cosmetics and The Body Shop. She then enrolled at The Jemma Kidd Make-up school in London in order to gain a more comprehensive repertoire of make-up skills. Since then Hayley has completed additional make-up training at The Norwich Beauty Academy, with Illamasqua and alongside International make-up artist Louise Constad. Hayley also has a diploma in facials and facial massage.
Hayley has always had a passion for TV presenting so it was a dream come true when she joined the ITV ‘This Morning’ show as their resident beauty expert in 2012. For over four years Hayley worked as their on screen make-up artist for studio based viewer make-overs, as well as live and pre-recorded beauty tutorials. She presented features alongside Holly Willoughby, Phillip Schofield, Ruth Langsford and Eamon Holmes. Hayley also made regular appearances in the This Morning Hub, answering viewers beauty questions alongside Emma Willis, Stephen Mulhern and Coleen Nolan.
Hayley now works as a freelance TV presenter specialising in fashion and beauty and regularly appears on the QVC and Ideal World shopping channels representing different beauty products. She has been recruited to present online beauty content for some of the UK’s leading beauty companies including Boots No7, Fake Bake, Sleep in Rollers and Look Fantastic. Hayley has also hosted live beauty events for Marks & Spencer and most recently presented on stage alongside TV presenter and charity campaigner Katie Piper at the Ideal Home show. As a keen writer she has her own beauty column in monthly glossy magazine The Beacon and is a beauty and lifestyle journalist for Luxuria Lifestyle, a luxury online magazine, she also contributes regularly to other online and print media. With her wealth of experience to share XIP Professional are delighted to have Hayley on board. She is very passionate about helping and supporting others within the make-up industry. Many of her past assistants have now gone on to be very successful make-up artists and work with Hayley throughout the year as part of her make-up team!
